Since his domestic violence charges from media accounts seem to have been fabricated, I'm happy Dante is getting a chance. Of course, domestic violence is a serious issue. And it needs to be dealt with. But in this case, the Pelicans seem to be making the right call.
Not basketball news, but still relevant to lots of fans in Oregon. I wish coach Riley the best, but still a bummer to see him leave
"When you’re on the court, your adrenaline takes over and you tend to get lost in it. When you’re watching from the bench, you can pick up on everything — where guys like to shoot the ball from, how teams defend the pick-and-roll, which big men are good at hedging the screen and so on. You’re able to pick up on so many more things. I guess that’s one positive I can take from being sidelined."
Unless maybe you are Wesley Matthews.
Seem like they are rushing him back. Although I'm sure they wouldn't ever admit that. Jones fracture is a very easy to rebreak usually with an 8-10 week recovery. Not sure how they rushed him back in 7, but I hope for their sake it doesn't go the way it went for Webster and CJ.
Great stuff. Skip to about 8:00 if you don't want to hear the other stuff.
