Yahoo Sports Assist of the Night Blake ties NBA Record. Got Starter?
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3928825 The Jazz have won 4 straight (including Boston-- without KG-- LAL and NOLA--though NOLA had played @ LAL the night before) and are getting Boozer back. I said early in the year that I thought a healthy Jazz team was the 2nd best in the West, but I've been surprised how bad they've been on the road this year-- injuries are only a partial excuse for that. They are finally healthy now, and their schedule is friendly for the next week or so. After that, it starts to get very road heavy. Should be interesting.
Of course wishful thinking, but doesn't seeing CP3 play with Roy during the All-star game give you goosebumps too?
Nice piece on Shavlik going back to his days as a highly sought after HS player.
I knew I wasn't the only one that hates blaze but once that article was linked on here I decided I would start a group on facebook calling for Blaze's demise.
If you want to meet up with other Blazer fans in NYC to watch games, join this list. Hit the link above and "apply for membership". I'll approve ya!
Feb. 23, 1987 Seattle Super sonic Nate McMillan sets NBA rookie record with 25 assists in 124-112 win over the LA Clippers. That’s pretty crazy. 22 years ago to the day (the Clips game was on Monday morning in Hong Kong where I am, so it's "to-the-day" here) of Blake's awesome assist night.
Nene went down late in the Nuggets' loss to the Bucks today - looked like a knee. He's been great this season, and if he misses a big stretch of time, I think the division is back in play.
